What kind of gift would a lady appreciate?

Girls/guy in the house my girl said am not caring so I really want to start showing her how much I love her, so to the girls what kind of gift do you appreciate? Expensive, not very expensive, not expensive?

By caring, are you sure she meant she wanted a gift? Anyone can buy a gift. I would rather have my man do thoughtful little things for me throughout the days than have him buy me gifts. I would like him to try and understand my feelings and honor them. I would like his respect.
