Do you find any difference between the expensive name brand diapers and the cheap ones?

Oh yes..I've been using huggies dry comfort since my baby was born, at times that i cannot find a specific size for her,i try diff brands but whenever my baby pees..it leaks easily..making it more expensive if you think about it cos there is a chance that you change every time she pees ...and the material of other diaper is so sof,it tears apart easily.

yes be careful with the cheap ones. I run a daycare and have tried a few cheap brands and they tend to rip while the child is wearing them and well its a mess when the insides of a diaper come out specially if it is even a little wet yuck. I would try there website first and see if you can get a sample first. But in my opinion pampers are a safe choice.

It's disgusting when the insides of the diaper spill out. I've had that on more than one occasion with the cheap brand I tried. Huggies tend to do that a lot, too.

Hm, that is weird, I have never had any problems like that with Huggies! Huggies work great for us!

I would have to say yes. I used Huggies for both of my kids. I refuse to buy anything different. On occasion at the babysitters if they ran out of diapers or something they would put the cheaper brands on my kids. I just didn't like them. You could feel the wetness through the diaper and on their skin when you took it off. With Huggies, neither of my kids had very bad diaper rash and you could feel that their skin was still pretty dry when you took the diaper off. Also, they work well for night wihtout having to buy seperate night diapers.

Yes there is a difference. The expensive diapers Huggies and Pampers are made of better materials. They hold wetness in because of their garters inside if they have them. Some are resealable which is also helpful. Some can handle a lot of pee and the cheap ones can't. When you have a small baby, and she's wearing expensive diapers, they don't cry when they pee because they don't feel the wetness. From the cheap ones, they feel it and cry right away. You really aren't saving from using cheap brands. I'm a 3 time mom and I've tried them all. Huggies and Pampers are well worth it and I'm lucky here in the Philippines, they have lowered the prices on those and have the economy versions.

When my daughter was born I got a lot of Pampers at her baby shower. They were ok, but after we started to see how expensive they were we ended up trying Huggies. They were a lot cheaper and I think the worked just great.

I have always used Huggies diapers, I think that having a quality made diaper is better than having one that is cheaper. Plus, a couple of my kids had allergic reactions when we used a different brand of diaper; they would turn red and break out in a pimply rash on their bum.

I used the wal-mart brand with no problem with my older 2. I think it all depends. I find Huggies to not be very absorbent, but love pampers. I have not been to a wal-mart to try their diapers on the baby yet.

When my children were in diapers I remember trying every generic brand that I could find. There were a few that were very good, and much cheaper. Many however, were so thin that I had to use twice as many which defeated the purpose! Do try a small package when you decide to try the generics so that if they are bad, you will not have as many to get rid of!

The difference that I find between the expensive and the cheap ones is that the latter tends to leak, the absorbency is not as good and could cause nappy rash if not changed regularly.

Yes, the cheaper diaper allow the accidents to slip alot sooner. We wont use the cheaper diapers, even if they appear to save a little money at the present.

Yes, I personally do see a difference. I use Pampers and find that they don't leak nearly as much as the cheap diapers. For us, every three cheap diapers I use would equal the use of one Pamper. I would be spending more to purchase three times as many packages of the cheap brand as I would just getting the name brand in the first place.

there is one particular chep brand that i think is just as good as the expensive ones. But in general the cheaper ones are, well, cheap! They fall apart, leak or just smell nasty! And quite often leave a rash. I have tried most of them and only found one which I am happy to use.

Yes, I absolutely think that the more expensive brands are better. Obviously the cheaper brands must be a lower quality to be so cheap. And I've known of some cheaper brands upseting baby's sensitive skin. We tried a certain store brand for a little while and found that it didn't hold as much in the diaper and didn't soak in the urine as well. Which in turn could lead to diaper rash. So in my opinion, the more expensive ones are not MUCH more expensive and if they hold more with less leakage than wouldn't they be worth it?

In my opinion, the expensive brands are better than the cheap brands. We used White Cloud b/c we had free samples and both my kids leaked right through them. We use Pampers b/c they tend not to leak through them at all. They are better for boys. I've heard that Huggies are better for girls.

What I use to do is during the day use the cheap diapers for I seem to be always changing them all day long anyways and used the expensive ones for night so you wont have a mess. Best Wishes Stacy
