No Issues Staying Away From Bad Food...

Every diet pill I've looked at is mostly to supress your appetite (so you don't over eat) but what if you're like me and don't have any issues at all with food? I mean I could literally not eat at all for several days and not lose any weight. So those pills would be of no use to me. So I've started exercising, doing Tae Bo (yay Billy!) 6 days a week but so far I haven't noticed any changes, weight or otherwise. Does anybody have any suggestions on different exercises? It's mostly the lower half of me that I'd like to see shrink! :)

My first suggestion would be to go to the doctor and see if you have problems with your thyroid. My next thing would be to do cardio (Tae Bo, walking, etc) and do body sculpting exercises (even if it's with lighter weights). Muscle weighs more than fat but it burns more calories which will in time help you lose weight. Also, drink a lot of water (about 80 ounces a day). This will help you lose weight b/c you are flushing the impurities out of your system. Don't eat a lot of salt either. Good luck!

I suppose that's entirely possible now that I think about it, my mother has a thyroid problem. I think they tested me for something like that when I was pregnant with my son though(who's 18 months old). Actually water is ALL that drink all day. I think I do tend to eat more salt than necessary so maybe I'll cut way down on that and see how that helps. Thanks for your advice!

I used to use diet pills that didn't curb eating so much as speed up your metabolism. I found that worked for me and I have the same problem as you. Also, you may want to check if you are taking a birth control pill or shot. That was adding to my weight and not letting me lose it as well.

Thanks for your input, I'll have to look into those types of pills. I have an IUD so that wouldn't be adding to my weight (I haven't put ON any weight in years, I just can't seem to lose what I already have). Thanks again!

Wow! I have never heard of this before. I would suggest sit ups and a treadmill if you have one or have use of one. Make sure you drinking a lot of water.
