Hi well today I am going through mylot and checking my friends now if they do not respond to my discussins here then I will be deleting them from my frinds list and looking ror new friends as why should I have them here when they do not respond to my discussions some of them are great and I really appreciate their friendship and responses and I always click on my best responders so if you wish to stay here on my friends list then I suggest you respond otherwise I will have no option but to delete you and invite other friends here, with me as I love helping you so why don't you help me also.

Hi Kathy77, I have started to do the same with my friends. I try to respond to at least one of my friends discussions per day (If I have time), and usually more if the subjects they are posting are of interest to me, but even if there isn't one that i'm particularly interested in I will make the effort to participate, but unfortunately not all do the same for you, all I ask if for at least one response a week! But some can't even be bothered to do that, so after a week I shall check to see who has been online and who has bothered to respond and if they haven't bothered to respond then off to the recycling bin they shall go!

Hi Bizziebod, I agree with you completely so if you are not on my friends list please add me to it as I always reply to all my friends and also give them a best response. I would love to help you with your earnings and so we could help each other.

Hi Kathy, An add is on it's way to you! Thanks for the offer! I shall make sure I respond to as many as your discussions as my time will allow or my knowledge will let me! Have a great day!

The discussions my friends started is the first section I go to when I log into mylot.I respond to as many of those discussions as I can. There are times though that I have no response to offer as what I am thinking has already been said by someone else and I have nothing to add.As you are in my friends list I hope I have been making sufficient responses to stay on your friends list.

Hi Ausnikki, yes you are welcome to stay on my friends list but I am just going to watch them and see if they respond I have deleted some of them but you are still there as my friend don't worry if you have a similar response on mine as you could just word it your way and not theirs as I pick the best response on how they answer my discussion as well.

That is not fair.May be your friend is very busy with their own discussions or with their other friend's discussions.

Well if you don't add people just because you do not know them then you never will know them but this is not the right attitude here as you need other people so that you can be successful here and more people will reply to your discussion and therefore you will receive more money that is how it works here.

that was so rude but wise. its like this rite. "you scratch my back and i scratch yours".its very political. hard to hear. i dont have any friends and i dont intent to have many. so i respond everything that i can respond to. but the sad part is that i dont get rated

I do not think that it is rude at all as so many want to be your friend and if they want to be my friend while I respond to their discussions I expect them to do some of mine as well you are only fairly new here according to your number here 238 and I am not going to have friends not responding to some of my discussions I do not expect them to do every single discussion and I do choose best response you have already been rated that is why you have a 5 that I seen here.

More members should do this on a regular basis. I try to keep my friends list to a workable size so that I can check all their discussions before moving on to the other sections. I will always respond to a friend's discussion first, with the exception of the topics that are not suitable for me. I do not expect my friends to respond to all my discussions because they will also find several that do not relate to them, but I do expect them to pay some attention to what I am doing. Too many people have joined Mylot and sent friend requests to everyone they can find in order to boost their responses, but do not make any attempt to return the favour.

I think this a process that needs to be done every so often. When you accept a friend, you often don't know what kinds of discussions they might start or how they might respond to yours. It takes a few weeks to get to know who you can rely on. I might not start many discussions, but I do look at every discussion from my friends list. I will post a reply if I can. Sometimes, I just can't relate to the topic and rather than write a few words, I pass it by. There are some who never reply to discussions..so there is no point in keeping them as friends. I agree with your expectations.

Thank you for your response and if you would like to be my friend by all means go ahead and add me as I always respond to others and I expect the same from them but some times there discussions do not have enough info therefore I will go passed it once in awhile but otherwise I do it.

I do look at all the discussions started by my friends. If they are relevent to me and I think I can make a worthwhile contribution I will respond. However if they are about sport or US TV shows or something that I know nothing about then I don't really see the point of responding. For that reason I'm not going to delete my friends for not responding as I know that they will probably have a good reason for doing so like I do.

Well I will delete them if they are not responding to anything I put here as my discussion but I have notice you responding so I am happy with that I do not expect you to respond to every discussion of mine as there are so many members here but I do expect them to at least do a few of them.

Well I can see that you are fairly new here and you do not understand how mylot works and especially with friends that request me to add them and if they do not do some of my discussions then why should I do theirs. As this means that they would be earning more than me so I don't count this as fair do you?? and as you say you don't care well you are not going to have that many responses if you respond like you have here.

Why you taking this site so seriously? I'm sure that all of your friends have another friends, and they just can't to response to all of their friends discussions. Think about it. The important thing is that you will post a lot, and that's what will increase your earnings. Not some responses from other members.

Hi there kathy77, I have to agree with the member above. I am the same. First thing I do when I log on to mylot it check the discussions my friends have started. I do read them but I only respond to the ones I feel I have something to contribute. I don't post for the sake of posting, like a lot of members here. I like my responses to be quality, not quantity. I do understand that you have to start 'culling' some people off your friends list if you're not really having any sort of contact with them. I have done that with a couple.
