I dont think so.But i've heard of cases of several stalkers who try to stalk on good looking girls.I might be dangerous for girls. It depends on how you feel about it.

Hmmm !! yah thats what the main problem is, for gals it has become almost impossible to trust on anybody untill we know that person personally....Once it so happened with me too, a revealed my location to him and just a day after he was hanging around my colony in search of me , from that day only i have decided not to reveal my identity to anyone...

You can reveal your true identity in chatting if maybe you truly blieve that your chat mate have already told you the truth about him/herself. It is sometime hard to find true persons in chat.

Yah!! if you definitely have faith on that person then u can, but the question is how can you trust any such person on net?? everyone is just using fake ids fake identity and everything about him is also based on lies, very few are there who reveal their true identity, and those who reveal their true identity, they also follow the same path of lieing whenever they feel they could have some personal benefit from someome. SO i am almost determined now that we should never reveal our true indentity on net...

It can be dangerous. As much as you think you know someone you are chatting with, you only know what they are choosing to share with you, and whether or not any of it's true, you have no way of knowing. The same goes in person, if you meet someone in person who is a total stranger (no mutual friends), you shouldn't hand them your address and walk into a dark alley with them. A family member of mine was chatting with the 'love of his life' online, talking marriage and all. Guess what? It was a scam, someone trying to get his money. He was ready to wire her money to help her out, when the people at Western Union told him their was a fraud alert on the address he was wiring it too. With a little research, we quickly discovered it to be a very popular scam going on all over the net, and that there were many more like it. This isn't some moron who would fall for anything, he is a very intelligent man with a lot going for him, who really believed he knew this person inside and out. It happens. Luckily this person was just after his wallet, there are a lot of predators out there who are after a lot more.

I think sometimes it's unsafe if you reveal your true identity to a chatrooms specially if you are a lady but in some circumstances if you really know the person you're chatting i guess there is no limitation.Btw is it really you in your avatar so pretty.
