The beauty of Sedona is impassible if you are touring from Phoenix to Flagstaff, or vice versa. a bit off of the freeway, when you travel down the narrow one lane road to sedona, the Bell Rock with it's crisp red tones in different shades, is awespiring. Sedona is home to many artists who use sedona as their inspiration in their paintings, drawings, ceramics and sculptures. The metaphysical community is pretty big there too. truly an awesome place to visit!

You said it about Sedona. I am here now for my vacation, and I love it!! As for those artists, don't forget the writers too. My Sweetheart and I are both writers, and we find this place extremely inspiring. Thank you for posting this piece, and letting the world know about Sedona. I love it down here!!

My oh my! I am glad you are having fun, or being inspired there! Take a trip to the grand canyon if you can, you haven't seen nothing yet!

they do expect you to pay 5$ even if you park alongside the road, but it is spectacular! if you have time, jerome is just west of it, and has a great arts community as well! you certainly will not be disappointed, if you make the little longer drive, and you won't forget it!

I have heard of Sedona and would love to go there one day.I need to save my money though because I will be coming from Australia.I have been told it is a very spiritual place.

as you are wandering down the main road south from the freeway exit into sedona, there will be a bridge that you cross right before entering. to the right is a wonderful little metaphysical bookstore and spiritual center that I would swear had a vortex in their back yard! you can literally feel the energies there! Since you will be coming from Australia, please plan on visiting the grand canyon as well, it is certainly spectacular, and not to far from sedona!

Someday, I will live in Sedona. I've spent a good deal of time up there - once just to eat at a restaurant I love - and I always feel so at peace and inspired there. I've gone and just spent a day down at the creek, sitting on a rock and just soaking up the feel of the place. I've never felt more at peace than I have in Sedona. The only other place here in Arizona I've felt so inspired in has been Jerome. I love Jerome as well, on a different level than I love Sedona. Jerome speaks to the horror writer in me, it calls to my more dark creative nature. There's just something about that place - it's like Stephen King called it into existence.
