If you have read the guidelines like you are suppose too you will see that ratings are and important part of mylot and its important to rate answers, the higher the rating you have the more you can ear, its equally important to select a best response as it also helps with earnings, and the rating is also indicated in the star that is next to your name after you have made 100 posts, if people dont rate then they will drop to a low score and earnings will become lower
