anti-Semitism.

I protest applying the term "anti-semitism" to Arab activity , not just because Arabs ARE semites , but the meaning of antisemitism evolved due to EUROPEAN practices and prejudices towards JEWS , Arabs were not in the equation .Although Israel has become a DEFACTO state , it's inception was ILLEGAL to say the least . Israel has a right to survive and defend itself , but so do Arabs in the region who are frequently victims of Israeli expansion and other aggressive policies . Maybe THIS incident was triggered by Hizbollah , but the WHOLE WAR was started when Jew immigrants first landed from the ships that brought them from Europe . You must own the actions your country commited in the region , respect other people if you REALLY want peace . By respect I mean stop assuming Arabs would rather live like terrorists . That's inhumane and arrogant . The Arabs in the region are responding that way because of what the stronger State (Israel)did to them .Otherwise Arabs and Moslems in general would be happy to live side by side with Jew neighbours , but you must RESPECT them first , respect does not come from owning a big military and atomic bombs , nor does it come by spoiling Arab relations with USA by always inciting the USA against Arabs .

For some reason, it's perfectly fine that the US destroyed a whole country to get two terrorists, and the US won't put up with ONE terrorist attack, but they object if Israel defends itself from bomb attacks and has been defending itself against anhilation for thousands of years! Duh! There is NO palestine. There is no credible physical history of a country called palestine and no history of people called palestinians. They made all that history up and stole it from the Jews history. The nation of Israel has belonged to the Jewish people from the start. The "palestinians" have a country, they just don't want it. They want Israel instead. Well, the truth about Israel is that it belongs to YHVH and He will give it to HIS people. Those who refuse to understand that will find out the hard way. Hi I live in UK, i think all wars are senseless it is just a few idiots that know very little in life and think wars make them look big and strong. They are the week and pathetic people, and just want to murder innocent peaceful people! I am sorry for the loss of your people in this war! I hope there will now be peace for ever.

Being of Jewish descent, I can safely say that people are hating Jews for all the wrong reasons. People who hate Jews, hate themselves, and should all know that they all have Jewish blood somewhere inside of them. War is never the answer and I will never visit the Middle East until I know that there can be peace there. The war in the Middle East has to stop or that entire region will soon be destroyed. I am sure they do not want that.

There is one saying that goes like this. "We fought a war to get peace." That is what exactly is happening all over the world, we are in a tricky situation to really judge whether the war is right or wrong, both parties have supporting arguments. But at the end of the day, it is the common man who is suffering the brunt of the war. That is really sad aspect of it. Hope the rulers keep aside their pride and think about we, common people.

Man i live in Israel too, but in Jerusalem, that wasn't hit by any rockets during the war. I imagine myself how you feel, and I'm VERY PISSED OFF WITH YOU. The government here in Israel was so messed up at this time, and now there are many investigations going on against some very senior people that was involved at this war, because the war was a COMPLETE failure. about 170 soldiers die for absolutely NOTHING. I VERY hope that the people who was involved in this war's failure will get their punishment. ToM.

I think that if they kidnapped your soldiers, Israel had every right to get them back. Do I think a rocket attack - escalating to the point it did- was necessary because 3 soldiers were kidnapped? I'm not sure. But from what I can tell, they started it, and your country was just letting them know in no uncertain terms that it would not be tolerated. It's unfortunate that Israel is in a very precarious position in world politics. You are d@mned if you do, and d@mned if you don't.

I live in your city, so I know what you are talking about. This was has ruined my summer vacation! My last summer vacation! I just hope that Israel won't be involved with other wars in the future. We had enough already. I hope that there will be peace in the middle east.

well... as hard as it sounds, "woudl you forgive the person who has killed your son?" imean do you ll give him a place to live and that? ¬¬ thats what jesus said... if someone kills a member of your family, how you think will be your reaction, if some1 kills your son it is impossible to you to forgive him... you cant make war for gettin peace, coz after that war ends, there will be a small or big group with hate inside of them.. adn soon or later that hate to the winners will explode... all wars will be other future wars begin... so if none stops it.. wars won end forever... it is hard to forgive wars, but it is necessary for the whole human kind...
