If you have a large list of friends do you have a certain age group that you have or do just accept anyone? If you accept anyone, why? Do you accept people from all over the world? In your country only? I mean I want to know I was just accepting everyone, but I had to stop and pick and choose because some people had not been on mylot for months and wanted to be friends. I feel if you are only on every 2/3 months then you won't be responding to my discussions and if I had responded to yours you still have the same things on there as before so what the heck. DENY lol

I don't have a large list of friends as compared to most. At first I was accepting everyone. I take everyone from all over the world because I would like to get to know people from different cultures. Sometimes I look at the persons profile. Today was the first time I asked someone if I could be on their friends list. It was scary being on the other side of the fence. I also like having my friends discussions going to my email box so I know in the morning and through the day who I have to respond to. I don't necessarly respond to them all because they might not have nothing to do with me.

I pick my friends by their interests. If I can respond to their discussions, I do. If I have no knowledge about a subject I don't. As soon as I do have knowledge of a discussion of theirs, I respond. I cannot respond to anything I don't have a clue about, so that is how I pick my friends (by their interests).

I just went through and deleted anyone who had not been on here for over 4 weeks. It was quite a few of them. I like having alot of friends so I don't have to look for discussions to respond to most of the time. When I get a request for a friend, I go to their profile and check out their discussions. If I don't see anything I would respond to I deny the request. I do not care where they are from or how old. If they have some discussions I would respond to I accept.

I think the most important thing I look for in a friend, is someone that shares the same interests as myself. Of corse that doesn't mean exatly the same things, but certainly a similar age, and an interest in the same broad type of things, will mean that those friends will create more threads that I am generally interested in, and able to respond to.

Well, if that works for you, then go for it. As for me I don't categoried anyone that asks me to be their friend. I just check out their profile and accept them as friends.

Well I have been here from the last 2 months and never had any problems with any of my 53 friends. We start discussions, respond and even do private messaging. So we r all regular. We are all a good mean of increasing eachother earnings. But on the other han, Why do we have to delete or deny our friends.Firstly, we are here to increase and spread friendship and secondly, if one is not making any trouble so delete just because he/she is not regular.I think it is not fair enough.

I pretty much accept everyone, but some get booted later. Periodically I check my list and anyone who hasn't logged on at least once in the past month gets deleted. Also, people who abuse the system or just generally annoy me are deleted as I see fit.

I for one accept everyone and i feel that if they request to be my friend than why not! I do not see a problem with having a big friends list and i have almost 900 now! I think that the friend list should not really matter about your discussions and if someone requests to be yoru friend than they must have interest in your posts!

Friends List - I think anyone on My Lot that takes time and asks to be your friend is worth being added to your list. This is a person who for whatever reason chose you to ask to be a friend with. That tells you that you did something special. You touched that person either with a really good discussion, a picture you may have loaded or your screen name. No matter what the reason it was something special that you did. Sure the friends list can grow and grow and if you have a large friends list I am positive in time you may have to delete someone. When you delete the friend it is you then that has to ask yourself ... what did that person do to be taken off your friends list. Remember before you delete his or her name this was the same person that picked you out of thousands of people and asked you to be His or Her friend.

Well I don't know as I am a relatively new member to mylot. However I don't think it is all that important to have a large friend list. Quality rather than quantity.

I like having a large list of friends. I think it helps because it gives me a group of discussions that I can look through instead of weeding through all the other pages. Its not as important to me if they respond to my discussions because I realize that we are all different and have different likes and dislikes. I'm happy if just a few people respond to mine. I accept everyone that asks to be my friend. It does not matter to me how old they are or where they are from. I do look at their profile just to get to know a little about them. I feel that if they took the time to request to me my friend, then there must have been something about me that interested them, so I will give everyone a chance. I have only ever deleted one friend and that was because he sent me a creepy message. Sometimes it is hard keeping up with all the discussions but I do the best that I can.

I'm very new here and am trying to figure the whole site out...I have asked a few people to be friends..My criteria was that I read some of their articles and liked them or found them interesting...I would love to grow my list as that would mean more folks to read things as I get to write them...I'm setting a goal of several articles tomorrow..but we'll see...I agree on the fact that if they aren't active for long periods of time they won't be reading or writing...I still haven't got the ground rules down to know what is the best way to increase your earnings ...and yet to read about a referral....best sit down and seriously read the "rules"...

I am a fresh man here. I think you had better add accept people from all over the world. because in China, it is said that more friend, more ways.
