I rate all of them, yes :) also, if I see an outstanding response (either because it was very good or very bad) in another discussion, I will rate it accordingly. I'm not sure how much ratings matter in the overall scheme of things, but hey... nothing to lose.

Every one who gives response has spent some time in understanding the discussion and framing a reply. He should be rated for his/her efforts. I also try to rate each and every response.

Frankly speaking, i only rate those who really put in effort and provide quality answers to my responses. Often, i find only one liners like i agree, or yes, no, and even i don't know. For once, i feel that these people are wasting the space in my discussion. (i even have the feeling to put a negative rating on them) With the dilemma of wanting responses, but hating lousy responses, i just left most of the responses neutral unless its insightful, or of good effort. Speaking about happiness, i would definitely love to make everyone happy around. However, i cannot take the ratings for granted to rate it on people whom i feel are not contributing to the discussions. I need to have a standard of quality i recieve in responses. Part of my objective here is to know more knowledge, views, and opinions of others. I don't fancy zero opinion, or even one liners. -=Dislike One liners=-
