I guess I am a kid that just never grew up, but I just love fairy bread, talking to someone the other day who was not born in Australia didn't know about fairy bread so I don't know if this is an Aussie thing or worldwide, I used to love going to kids parties because they always had fairy bread, anyone else out there never got over fairy bread... For those who don't know what fairy bread if, it is bread and butter with hundreds and thousands sprinkled on it, I guess it is a form of a lolly sandwich...:)

I hope you do get to try them leny, although I know it sounds stupid but to me fairy bread tastes better with the hudreds and thousands on top of the bread rather than as like a sandwich...sounds dumb I know but then I am a bit dippy...hhhahaha :)

That sound really interesting. What does a fairy taste like? Anything is good with bread and butter. If they have it at parties...works for me.

I have never hear of fairy bread, but it sound Delicious to me. Where would one get it or perhaps make it. I am sure it would be a hit with my son and me of course. I have not heard of a lolly sandwich either; what is it, a sweet of some sort. If it anything like the fairy bread you described I am sure it would be good too.

The sprinkles that you put on the bread and butter are just tiny little lolly type balls we call the Hundreds and thousands, it is what they use for cake decorating....I don't think any kid in Australia would be happy with a party that didn't have fairy bread.....:)
