Ebay! what a site! but has anyone had any trouble with members or actual ebay??

We all know what a fantastic idea and website ebay is right? we've all used it to sell/buy stuff, or at least visited it to find out the hype. im not saying its a bad site, in theory its great but it is full of crooks!!
i know of people buying things and never recieving the items!
i know of people recieving wrong or damaged items and then never hearing from the seller again!
and the reason this continues is because Ebay has gotten far too large for itself. if ever you want to complain or find something out, 999 times out of 1000 you will be either talking to or emailing a computer!! and you get nowhere!!
So i was just wondering whether you've been scammed or had trouble on Ebay?? Type your stories.....

I've had some bad experiences there so I haven't been using it lately.
1)I sold a woman a blouse, she wrote back and said it had a big stain on it. I know it didn't but did not want negative feed back so I refunded her money and instructed her to return the blouse. She did not. My daughter says this is a very common scam on the site.
2) I purchased some china to match my set, I never received it even though I paid for it. The seller threatened to report me to ebay.
3) I purchased a digital camera, the seller (michellefass) sent it in a bubble wrap envelope, naturally it didn't work after a week travelling across country in a UPS truck. When I asked for a refund, she said it wasn't her fault. She stopped answering my emails until I threatened to file a complaint with ebay. Then she suggested I mail the camera to her friend and then she would refund my money. I tried to file a complaint with ebay, they wanted to charge me a fee equal to the cost of the camera for which they would send her an email. If she chose not to answer, that would be the end any action they would take.
Since I've stopped using ebay, I get spammed at least once a day from supposed buyers demanding I send the merchandise I sold them or claiming to be sellers demanding payment.

wow, sounds like you've had a rough time! getting hit hard by both crooked sellers and the annoyance of ebays automated emailing system!!
and on top of that fake ebay emails!!
ive been through all what you have, and it just makes you really think how cruel people can be!

yeah its true.. i have been a victim of scam and fake products over ebay.. they often are differnet to wat they claim to be

yes, but there are ways around that! people just set up new accounts, and can buy good feedback!
