How do you pray to God?

I don't know if i will describe myself as a prayerful person...but then, i see to it that I talk to God everyday.....every instance that i feel down and lonely, especially that i work far from home and alone in my rented room, i tend to seek the companionship of God...before i sleep every night, since i have this tendency to get nervous out of thinking negative things, my only comfort is to get my rosary and pray for His comfort......there are times that i cry when i pray coz I feel bad or sad or happy....there are times that i pray also even just for a split of a minute if an ambulance will pass by and pray for the patient inside the ambulance.....you, how do you pray to God?
