I'm came from a family who made a living cooking food. Since our love affair with food started way back when artificial flavorings are not yet invented, the family has kept the tradition of using fresh ingredients. Besides its a common knowledge that artificial flavourings have too much salt and msg which are bad for our health.

So we should just stay away from bad ingredients when choosing. It is okay to be artificial if the original is to expensive.

I try to stay away from foods with artificial flavoring, or colors for that matter. Or foods with that MSG in it. Sometimes when I bake a cake or something, I might add some vanilla flavoring, or even grate up some real vanilla bean. Otherwise, I'll use orange juice, or real strawberries, or dark chocolate cooking squares. I'm not entirely innocent, however. Hey, I drink Dr. Pepper sometimes, and eat packaged food sometimes. I do my best to stay away, though.

Natural is better because you know what you are getting artificial is often cheaper and just as good though

Of course natural. I don't like artificial things.
