The darkness after sunset is the other half of the day. We should work during the day and sleep during the night. I am a security guard and most of the time I'm duty at night and I sleep during the day. The sleep during the night is better than the sleep during the day even if how long it is.

It's but natural that darkness comes after sunset. God made the day into day and night and the sun rules during the day and the moon during the night. Nighttime is the time for us to rest and we need darkness so that we can rest sufficiently and have a real good rest. At daytime when it's bright we cannot really have the rest we need. God knows what is best for His creation. Scientifically, the sleep from 1 - 2 am is the best as allegedly our bodies produce some sort of something I don't remember now which is good for the body and that could only be produced during sleep during those two hours of the night. Perhaps that's the reason why God made darkness for us.

when i was a kid i used to fear from darkness of the night. as i truly believed in ghosts hanging on trees and hiding in the dark corners. when i grew up i admired the setting sun and started writing poems on the beauty of night. now sometimes night reminds you of going to party or simply going off to sleep.
