What Would You Do For A Klondike Bar?

The title of this discussion has nothing to do with this discussion. I just wanted a catchy title. I've spent today on Mylot responding. I'm attempting to do one hundred posts in a day. Why? Why not. It's not about the earnings, it's more about seeing 'can I do this?'. Can I really make one hundred responses in one day, all of them substantial and quality responses? Is it possible? I've got about thirty to go. I'm here, in bed, with a Ghost Hunters marathon and some Wontons with sweet and sour sauce. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday night, if I do say so myself. And yes, my old avatar is back. I did notice a difference with the more 'friendly' avatar - more people responded to my responses in discussions. Just an interesting little tid-bit. Oh, and to keep with my usual posting themes, uh.. rawr, rawr, aggravated complaint and general insult followed by witty expression.

Good for you, hope you reach your target. When it comes to me, i always set a target and never reach it. i get sucked in into reading every discussion and then end up responding to just a few, where i have something substantial to say. and i've heard you say this in other discussions about your avatar, i don't think it's intimidating, and even if it were i don't see how it would affect your responses, dont' people actually read the titles of the topics instead of responding to avatars they like?

I did! I'm trying again today. I don't have anything else to do, after all! And sadly, people often don't actually bother to read things. They skim. And I've had people tell me that they're scared to respond to me because of the fact I use big words and my avatar looks mean. Their loss, I say.

i know what you mean, i got stucked in reading too but in the end i've got only in a few something good to post, but i still made it to 100 :D *happy* it's really interesting to read some articles and some of them even teach me things that i didn't know before but that's not helping everytime to be able to post anything, I hope that changes with time ^^;

I have a life. A fulfilling one, thank you very much. Sunday is my day to rest and do whatever the hell I want. I spend all week running a household and a ranch as well as writing articles for the website I'm contracted with. Usually from a wheelchair, because of my disability. If I want to spend Sunday in bed with TV and the internet, I'm going to do it. Thanks. :D

What would I do for a Klondike Bar? Well, the weather's been pretty cold, so ice cream isn't very desirable at the moment. If I did want a Klondike Bar, I guess I'd go to the store for a Klondike Bar. Oh! You've typed some other stuff there. Well, good luck with the 100 posts.

well yeah its good for you, even i have tried posting a hunderd replies or questions but i usually get to doing about 50-60, or at the most i manage is 12-14, its because i do mylot after work and it takes a lot of time on my slow net speed for the pages to load, so if you do not hae anything else to do i think its wise that you spend the time on mylot posting and earning.......best of luck my friend

yeah sounds similar to how I'm spending my night, though not aiming for one hundred posts in a day. Though I am thinking I should try for 700 before bed.

Don't spill your sauce in your bed that would be tragic. heh I think you could easily do 100 posts. I managed 100 responces in one day before but it certainly did eat up a ton of time.

Everything is about the earnings. :D Who doesn't love looking in at your total the next morning and seeing that it shot up a dollar. That in itself if the reason you probably stumbled on to the site, and largely why the site keeps going. I'm sure you can see that yourself. You total means you've gotten up to around $40 since you first started here, assuming that this is your only account. :]

Actually, I didn't know this website paid when I signed up. I was told it was a broad spectrum discussion forum with 'something extra'. My total post count? I've made more than twice that much since I started here. I've made over a hundred dollars.

Lol..Good Luck MissKatonic :) I never set targets for myself..I never complete them lol..So what's the use... I just go On and on...If I get something I wasn't hoping to get..I get pleased and that's about it..Nothing more lol... And the title certainly is catchy... P.S I'd do nothing for a klondike bar..Too lazy :D

First off good luck with your quest to reach 100 posts in one day. Did you make it? I am sure that you did, you seem to me to be the kind of person who gets what she wants. Second, I just want to voice my displeasure for your tricky topic title. I was all ready to go in great detail about what I would do for a Klondike Bar, and when I get in here I find that you are just tricking me and you really don't give a damn what I would do for a Klondike Bar. So misskatonic, I am not really 100% sure on the myLot rules, but I think for tricking me in such a way, you own me one Klondike Bar. I will be looking for it in the mail soon. Make sure you have plenty of dry ice around that boy, we don't want it melting.

Well you posted 22 hours ago. How did it go? Did your wit fail you at all? Somehow I don't think so. I'm pretty much flatline at 50.

I would love to get 100 in a day done, but not sure it would be logical for me. Lots of other stuff (like dishes and housecleaning) beckon me.*sigh* if there were only 2 of me.lol good luck to you though.

I wish I had the will power to go through 100 posts in 1 day. Most of the time I tend to get off track and watch television ,do some homework, and anything else productive. But since I'm sure you've accomplished this I might give it a try on the weekend when I'm off of school. Wish me luck hehe.
