Waiting in lines at the convenience store...

We live in a rural area and have a couple of gas stations that have convenience stores in them... I hate it when I walk in to buy something quick and there are three registers open to pay for your items, but everyone is in one long line!!! It's like they stand there and wait for the next cashier to open up, then the next person walks up to the counter. Meanwhile, other people cannot get through the store because of this big long line! What I think they should do is everyone get in line behind a different cashier! The lines would be shorter and people could get past! And, it's quicker! Instead of having a line with 9 people in it, waiting to pay for their items, there would be 3 short lines with 3 people in each line. What do you think? Are you one of the people who makes that long line? Or do you prefer to make the shorter lines?

Sounds like a bank to me- Wait in the line for the next available teller. Drives me crazy! Never been to store like that- That is why they have cashiers and lines to stand in- Get in 1 line and by chance a different line moves faster- So be it- Better luck next time in picking the quickest line. That would dive me crazy!! I'd probably walk right up to a cashier and not wait in the line- Oh-- Was I supposed to?? LOL

That's exactly what I did last night! I got so tired of everyone just standing there so when the next lady opened up, and someone about 4 people in front of me moved over, I moved over behind him. I wasn't going to wait there forever!

I think everyone is always in such a hurry when they stop at the convience store that they are afraid to go to another register, afraid it will take longer. I think it goes on everywhere. It happens here all the time to. Dont you just want to grab them and say "Hey I only have one thing". LOL

Oh no when I go to any shops or gas station I prefer to go in a short line not to make the same line of people keep on growing that is just ridiculous and time consuming when I am shopping I try to get out of their as soon as possible but if someone has less than me I will also let them in front of me as I feel sorry that they have to wait longer to get out of there.

I like th eshorter lines. But I'm not big on shopping, I like to go in and get what I want and leave and not waste time. So I do not like to wait in lines if I can help it.
