I've never adopted a Neopet or put one up for adoption, but I do check out the Neopets pound every once in a while. Have you ever put one of your Neopets up for adoption? What about adopting, have you ever adopted someone else's Neopet?

I've only recently adopted a lupe to train up and paint via the lab map. Then I'm going to put it back into the pound so it looks more likable to adopt.

I put one of my pets up for adoption, but only because I'd gotten him by accident. Stupid mistake I made. But then my kids make up for it by adopting pets out of there all the time. They are at their limits and wanting more accounts so they can have more pets. Course then they don't feed them...poor pets.

I have the lab ray on my account so I adopt 2-3 pets every week, zap them so they have a good colour, change their stats, etc to make them more likely to be adopted by others as well, so yep, thats pretty much it for me

I adopted my lupe and skeith from the pound. The skeith I adopted as a project for a guild initially (that I'm no longer in) but I just decided to keep him.

lol. I zap them with the lay ray until I get an Avatar of them. Then I go to the boards and say at what time I'll disown it. Most people adopt it and then again disown it because they only want avatars! But I get good Neopoints there by adopting a Pet with an expensive petpet. Sell the petpet and disown the pet ^^

I haven't put any of my own neopets up for adoption, but I did adopt one. He was a beautiful yellow Lupe with a great name, and I've been leveling him up as my Battledome pet ever since. I did make a Koi for a friend last year and did an adoption transfer, though. It went nice and smoothly, and now we both have koi!

I put one pet in the neopian pound only because I want to change usernames, so after I put her/him up for adoption I retrieved her/him after a few minutes. here's the link to my pets http://www.neopets.com/~zugakendi ; http://www.neopets.com/~jamorphoenix

My Grundo was adopted from the pound. Sick, no stats to speak of and pathetic in every way ... now she's a she (she was a he), a level seven and my newest lab ray pet. I had a poogle that I kept zapping then it went MSP so it looks so wicked that I don't want to keep zapping it. If you want to check out my pets, here are their names: flame6262 (I didn't pick that name) vVv_vixxxen_vVv _pyretta_blaze_ poison_girl666 If you type in the flame6262 you'll be able to check out my other pets so you won't have to do all that annoying cutting and pasting!

yeah, i've adopted one before. i think it was a flotsam. i've also put a couple up for adoption after i switched accounts. i hate that some people create neopets for the 50nps and make really stupid long names that mainly consist of numbers and put them up for adoption. no one wants a lenny named A1283738. come on!

Nope I have never put up any pets for adoption. Sometimes you can see some really well trained pets that are painted and everything in the adoption center. Those are usually people trying to transfer pets from one account to another. It would have been nice to adopt one of those and snag them up.
