It's 10pm South Australian time and I can't seem to find many quality discussions to respond to. I have noticed this over the last week that this time of the day is shocking for finding good discussion. Has anyone else noticed this? Why do you think it could be happening?

I never have this problem. I do not respond to any random discussion. I focus on building my friends and only respond to them. That way I know the discussions are lively and good. I also go to my discussions and see who responded, I rate them and respond to one of theirs. It keeps me active and helps them too.

That's a great idea. I tend to keep refreshing the new discussions page but I might change my tactic. Thanks for the tip.

You need to find some friends that post quality discussions. Then whenever you want, you can find disucssions through 'discussions recently posted by friends'

Hi Shaz, Sorry I do not know why this would happen at 10pm South Australian time that there are not enough quality discussions you would think that there would be due to other countries waking up way before we do althogh as Australians we are in front of the majority of these countries in regards to time so you would think that they would of put more quality discussions here.

it might be so becos there might not be enough users of mylot at this time .. and mostly experienced people are good at posting quality discussions. so it might be a lack of experienced public..

I haven't really been on the site long enough to know how "the system" works, but I generally look around till I find a discussion with some "meat on its bones," then see what else that person has posted, and perhaps also check out the people who made particularly meaningful responses. I also find that if I add those whose discussions I really like as friends, then I can check in with them on a regular basis. I realize that doesn't necessarily get me to see new people, but it does provide some good reading.
