Tell Me What you Love About Being A Chacha Guide

If you have been invited to be a chacha guide please respond to this discussion. I have been one now for a little over a month. I am amazed at how easy it is to make money with their program. I go to the forums and read everything. I only have time during the week to work it about one hour a day, but on the week-ends I really try to put several hours in . I am hoping to make at least $500.00 a month from doing this part-time. I am looking for other guides to respond and tell me what you like about the job. How long you have been a guide. How many hours you work and what kind of income you hope to make.

I dont think I have ever been invited. I probably would have ignored it I would have thought it was for a person to be a dance teacher.

I've been a guide since October. I love that I can log in whenever I want to and get paid whenever I want to. I work another job from home 20 hours a week along with taking care of my 3 toddlers so dont have a lot of time to work on ChaCha but I try to for atleast an hour or 2 every night!

Yes I want to be able to dedicate at least two hours a day to it too. I agree the fact I can be there or not is great. A lot like My Lot, I can be here or not and still get my responses and discussions done. WOW 3 toddlers, you are in my prayers. LOL but they are so cute!

I really enjoy searching all different things, i learn so many different things while im doing the searches. The extra money isnt bad either. As being unemployed it really helps. I have it up all day long but i go back and forth doing it.

Yes I have seen you in there many times. I leave mine up all day too, but I have a full-time job so I can't do a lot while at work. It is fun though.

It is a job online. You download a java program and when someone does a search through chacha you find the results for them. You also enteract with them in a chat and help them find the best results. It is being used by many people. People who hate to search but needs information, people who need to be doing other things, people who just can't find what they are looking for, we help them find the results. It is like the 411 operator of long ago. LOL

I've been a guide since January 10th and absolutely love it. Currently, I'm a stay at home mom so I log on for a few hours a day. I've managed to bring in a good part-time income and its so easy!! The new guide application looks really good, and I can't wait till they release it for us to use. It looks a lot more user friendly than the current one, and I think it will be a lot easier to work with.

Yes I have been praticing on the new guide all day. It is easier, you just have to find where everything is. no more 4 or 5 different search sites popping up. Thanks for joining in and letting me know how things are going.

I wish I could be a Cha cha guide but it's only exclusive to US citizens. I hope someone came up with a version of a guide here in our country. It's just a thought.

I did sign up for this and have some trouble understanding it. I thought that there was a toolbar but I don't seem to have one and I have tried doing the training but don't seem to get that either. I don't know if I am just not waiting long enough for someone to help me or not.

Great! Did you get an invite in the email and download the java program? Once you download the java then you have to activate it and new window comes up for the searches. The toolbar is a different program which attaches to your IE browser. Anyone can get a toolbar and do the searches using a guide. But the java program is for the guide. Get with your sponser and they should be able to help you get up and running.

I have never heard of a guide making $500.00/month. I guess if you're network works then that is a potential. I'm also a Chacha guide and I only can make up to $13 per day.

I am a cha cha guide I love it.. its a great thing to do.. I try to do it as much as i can.. But helping others search is the great part.. and when the search is done i feel great about myself.. Plus having the freedom to come and go as i please is the great part.. no schedules to follow.. When i do cha cha i always have mylot on as well and so i can do both.. mylot between searches.. I am a master also.. that is interesting you make 500 a month i read somewhere that someone was making 1500. a month that is awsome.. Great discussions wmg2006

I'd wish to be a chacha guide, because I have found that it can be a real online job! They pay very much for being there! I'd love to work for chacha.com but I can't because I live in Italy :(. I hope it will be open soon to international members! I love working @ home!

How do you begin being a ChaCha guide? This seems like something I would enjoy. Is it invite only or is there a place you can sign up?

For now, you can get in by invite. There used to be a sign up page but they disabled that. Here are some forums where you can request an invite from a guide: www.wahm.com/forum (ChaCha folder) www.guideshq.com www.chachaguides.com/forum www.searching-4-cash.com/forum

Hi =) I'm a ChaCha guide and I love it so far! I joined back when it first started in September, but I wasn't an active guide until October. It gets addicting sometimes, but I can't spend a lot of time on ChaCha because I'm still a college student. The money I earn at ChaCha may not be as much as a "brick and mortar" job, but it has helped me pay some credit card bills. It really is a great way to earn extra money! What I like about ChaCha is the flexibility and being able to work whenever. You basically set your own hours and what you make is entirely up to you (and maybe your network). Once I catch up on some schoolwork, I plan on setting a schedule for ChaCha. My goal is to work about 20/hrs a week - or more if I have time. I'll most likely spend my ChaCha time on the weekends or in the early mornings since that's when I have most of my free time. I still need to practice the new application though. Well, good luck ChaCha-ing!

I've been a guide since the beginning of October, when ChaCha was just in the Alpha phase and I LOOOOOVE it!! :) I can totally set my own hours, if I want to take a few days off or whatever it's entirely up to me. If I have insomnia, I can always log on in the middle of the night and make some money while I can't sleep! ChaCha totally listens to all of the guides and our concerns/suggestions and are constantly working on improving things for us. I did not come into this expecting it to be a sole source of income at all but it's been perfect for me, allowing me to buy Christmas presents, I use it to buy our groceries ocasionally, and now I'm saving up for a class my daughter will be in this April. I probably am on an average of only 10 hours a week, so I make about $50 a week. I'm working on upping my hours so I can make $100 a week. Regardless, I'm in this for the long-term. Remember, ChaCha is still in the Beta phase, it can only get better!
