I have headaches a lot and sometimes a migraine. I recently had a ocular migraine and it was scary. I could not see out of one eye for a while (a hour ) and then a horrible headache came along and bit me in the butt. I ask the doctor for medicine, but they say just take Advil...hmmm I take 3 Advil and 2 tylenol sometimes just to get the headache under control. I had to call the pharmacist to see what I could do, and that is what they said. Doctors sure push antidepressants and others meds down your throat, but they don't seem to mind that your in pain.

Take a long breathe. Increase the time length of that breath slowly but steadily.Do it for five six times in a day, specially when you get up from bed and when you go to bed. Do it for four days and message me the results.

I get it occasionally and my wife gets it freuqently. She applies balm (chinese herbal paste) on the forehead and she puts wet cloth on the forehead and tie a knot little tight. In 30 minutes or so, the headache disappears.

I have had migraines for years now. I'm 24 and I have had them since I was about 13 or so.I have tried like every pill I think has been put out for migrains lol ok maybe not all of them but alot and none of them have worked except imitrex It works great! It is my life saver pill lol. My doctor also put me on a prevention medication too. I don't see that its working yet but I'll stick with it and see if anything happens.

i use to have migraines all the time i have tried pretty much all the over the counter meds. one day i was home didnt have transportion at the time and all i had in the house was children's motrin so i tried that and believe it or not it worked. now i still got them often that only cured it for a little bit. last year we was in a car wreck and had to see a chiropractor after a fer visits with him because of whiplash i noticed my headaches were going away. now i only have them once a month for 1 say and thats due to menstrual things. i think going to the chiropractor really helps alot with any type of headaches i know it did wonders for me

The most common medicines for treating an attack are painkillers such as aspirin or paracetamol. Some medicines also have an anti-sickness ingredient, or this can be taken separately. If over-the-counter treatments do not help there are medicines available on prescription, which are specifically for migraine. These acute treatments, known as triptans, work in a similar way to a naturally occurring brain chemical called serotonin which is in short supply during a migraine attack. They are available in a range of formulations, such as tablets, injections and a nasal spray. Preventive treatments, in the form of tablets taken every day, may be given to patients experiencing four or more migraine attacks per month.
