Why is there brail on DRIVE THRU atm's

If a person needs brail for the atm don't you think they shouldn't be driving?

Businesses might be required to put their menus or customer tools in braille so that they are accessible if need be. There are all sorts of laws pertaining to accessibility rights for the disabled. For example, Target was sued this time last year by the National Federation of the Blind because their website was inaccessible to blind people (which is apparently against California disability laws). You know I have wondered that too, but then someone told me it is for people who need to get out of the car and use the ATM. It was actually an employee of the bank.

I think it's just the standard way that the atm's are made. Obviously they arent put there for the blind. That would be just silly.
