I had being doing the family tree for the past 12 years and had came across a few family secrets ! Has anyone else here had the smae experience ddoing their family tree !! I was to discover that I am German , Italian , Danish , French , Welsh & English !! Do you know where your ancestors come from ?

Hey, sounds like we have a lot of the same background. I just started doing my geneology a few years ago and the biggest secret I found was my great-great grandmother was full blood Cherokee Indian and a desendant of Pocahantas. Why it was a secret is my father's family came from the back hills of Kentucky and are all very predjudice. I had to laugh when I thought of all the horrid things my father and grandmother said about "Indians" and here he was part one and she married a part one.

I found out that my great-great great grandfather had two daughter prior to marriage to my great great great grand mother . The time was 1858 & 1860
