myLot organization suggestions

I guess, I am not the only one feeling these things, good point on the database. I definitely agree on being notified of responses to your comments, some of these questions have 10 or more pages of answers, and sometimes page loading is so slow, I forget why I am there or I just get bored and go else where. That is so funny, I was laughing last night at the very same thing - life is a hobby. I have only been here about 3 weeks, but I like a consistent navigator on a site and there navigator changes on every page and there is no smooth way to navigate. They took 3 weeks to get back with you - I hope it was not urgent. That is a long time. Stealth moderators - I like that, it is an iteresting title. Maybe we should put a suggestion in with that as a tag, then they would know to look at it!

Well, I am glad that you feel that the myLot people are reading this, I hope that is the case too. I have only been hre a few weeks, but i am curious how often they put out a new version. Maybe they are working on these things as we speak. It would even be nice if we could drag and drop our interests and friends ourselves. But the friends seems to move about arbitrarily. Someone said that the friends is arranged by star rank, but when I looked at it, that does not seem to be true. Thanks for the positive comments.

Well, It is difficult, I guess that we can keep our own lists of friends ourselves, separate from here. But it appears that the point of friends is to help get discussions off the ground, so if you keep answering the same peoples questions consistently and they do not answer yours, then you are giving and they are not, that to me says they do not belong in your friends list. I don't see that as negative, it is realistic. When I see people with 2000 friends, I wonder how many questions they can answer from each friend. I would rather answer the questions of 30 friends as often as I can, then have 2000 friends and only answer the questions of 1% of them when I can. In real life, I have very few people that I would call friends, and the rest are acquaintances and that is the same way I feel here. As for negative responses, I have rated I think every response a + but maybe 2 of them, and I left them blank. But if I see the same people posting - I don't know or something along the lines on my questions, then I will give a - Hope this helps a bit, Deb

Alright, another positive person. I think we can email someone, but without making sure we are emailing the proper someone, then all of it could just get lost. At least this way, we know that the comments are stored out here. And I think this way, multiple people can make suggestions about the same thing, which can be used to help resolve design issues. Good luck to you to. I am hoping to hit the $15 mark tomorrow. I am not the only confused my this, I guess they have growing pains. I am available to work as an internet designer. And these guys could really use one. Wish I knew where they were, I would apply. Would be nice to make a living by dabbling in software again.
