I loved to watch the twilight zone as a child. But my favorite and the one that scared me and still scares me when I watch it is the episode with William Shatner. he is on a plane and keeps seeing the gremlin on the wing. So, now its your turn. Which twilight zone episode is your favorite?

Ah, the episode you're referring to is called "Terror at 20,000 Feet". And I must agree, it's my favorite Twilight Zone episode. It rivals the later version with John Lithgow. Reason? Shatner does an everyday man so well that you think just like him, you can empathize with him, you even scream with him. Lithgow was too nutty from the very beginning. Screaming throughout a production can be shocking, but it's not good acting. Shatner was so young and pretty back then, it's a treat to look at. I also suggest "The Nick Of Time" - another Twilight Zone episode with Shatner. The plot centers on two newly-weds who are stuck in a small town when their cars breaks down. Shatner's character is the fiance who is terribly superstitious. When they visit a local diner and discover a penny fortune-telling machine, it's a test of willpower to not take it's fortunes literally. Shatner was even younger than he was in "Terror at 20,000", and shows off some rather nice biceps after having recently shot the film "Alexander", which was intended as a pilot for a series. It flopped, but Shatner got the nicely muscled physique out of it. Yes, he looked like a hunk. See it. ;)

I remember all those episodes..the one with Shatner and his wife was one of the ones that convinced me that some of the things that happen on that show could actually happen...the one with the little boy and teh toy phone creeped me out because my little sister had one of those things and used to love playing with it..the one with the old woman and the phone calls she got from the grave...when he said..you said leave you alone..I always do what you tell me to...I freaked out and felt so bad for the woman..

I can't remember what episode it was but there was a guy who kept on drawing things and the things he drew became real. They were on a plane one day and one of the plane's landing gear was hit by an enemy fire. All passengers were scared that the plane will not make it to the runaway without bursting in flames. So this man drew a picture of their airplane adding the missing landing gear on it and they were able to land safely. That was a long time ago and once in a while I see reruns on tv.

I think one of my favorites would have to be the one about the man who had a tape recorder that could create any type of character that he described...and if he destroyed the tape, the person he created wouldn't exist anymore..he created a woman that he was seeing on the side, he created his wife who turned out to be a total b****..lol..and at the very end, when Rod does his monologue, the guy interrupts and gets an envelope with Rod's name on it off of a shelf..he cuts the tape and Rod disappears..I love that one because it was the first one I ever seen Rod actually get involved in the show...

Wow, that is a blast from the past, I had forgotten all about the Twilight Zone, I wish they would repeat them on Sky, I think they modernized Twilight Zone with Outer Limits didn't they, which was never as good. I remember the gremlin one on the plane. I wish I could remember the title of the one where a guy steps through the door and becomes a Jew who is forced onto a lorry taking him to a concentration camp, he was moments ago sitting in a bar with friends, he tries to wave to them but they don't see him, that one scared me as a kid.

The one where the man from another planet brings his daughter two people for her playhouse but you do not find this out right until the end. It is kind of a hard one to explain. Have you ever seen It?

the airplane one is pretty good, then there is the one with bergis meredith being the last man left on earth - but then he lost his glasses. It has been such a long time since I've seen any of the twilight zones, but I still play the song in my head every now and again :)
