How many of you have tattoos and what are they of???

I have a tattoo on my arm, its a celtic knot forming a dragon. Was it painful, yes and no. At times it felt like they were trying to peel the skin from my arm and at other times it just felt annoying. Over all I think the pain was worth it, I have a work of art on my arm that is quite personal and means something to me. As I understand it the more bone in the area the more pain involved, so on your hip might be more painful than other places, but I only have the one so I can't say for sure.

paw prints are cute.i have one tattoo an that is a heart on one of my boob an that hurted.i will not get another tattoo i cant stand the pain.an yes it hurts.

My cousin has one on her foot and its looks good its not real big and she said it was so painful. So I guess Im out I wont be doing that. I dont like needles either.

I have two tattoos one is a butterfly on my chest and the other is a panther on my shoulder. What i am really wanting is a fairy on my lower back. My butterfly represents a celebration of a divorce (lol haha it was terrible) I was only 16 at the time. My panther is a tie of friendship between me and my best friend Michelle, we got them together both of the same panther but tattoed in a diffrent style.

Hi shambuca, I've got 4 tattoos all quite relatively small, I have a mouse on my right leg, a cat on my left leg, a mouse on my left arm and a bird on my right arm - you could call me an animal lover lol! I thought mine were blimmin painful, although talking to some people they think that different colours hurt more, some don't think it hurts at all and some think it depends on what part of your body you are having them done on - The skull, neck and foot are apparantly the most painful!

I have a small tattoo on my right outer thight. It's of a shark and it's blue. I too am very scared of needles. But got up enough courage to get it done. The part that hurt the most was when he did the outline, but the coloring didn't. they say the fleshier the part of the body the less it hurts.

I have 5 tattoos and plan on getting more. Ofcourse they are going to be painful, but it's bearable and usually after a few minutes it starts to go numb and you just get used to it.

I havent got any tattoo printed on my body because i hate them, i dont like to add pictures or items like rings so i prefeer wearing my cloth, have a nice day on mylot and happy earnings also.

I have a tattoo of my wife's nickname and she has one of mine. We got them on our honeymoon 11 years ago. It hurt but the pain was very temporary.
