And how much does it cost now to see a movie at the theater? Matinee and regular price. How much are popcorn and soda now? The last time I saw a movie in the US matinee was about $2.50, regular showing was about $7.50... popcorn was like $3 and soda was about $2... just curious how much they are now. Here in the Philippines, it costs about $2-$3 for a movie and most places you can repeat the movie as much as you want. You don't need to come at the specific time it starts, you can just watch up to the part you missed or you can watch it over and over. Popcorn is about $2 and soda is about .70cents US.

The search for the happiness of Muccino with Will Smith: the ticket is very expensive: it costs 7 euro. Pop corn costs from 3 to 5 euro.

OMG I can't believe those prices! Here in Australia it costs AUD$15 per session - which is about USD$11.65. It doesn't matter whattime you go - morning, afternoon, or evening. I don't buy popcorn or drinks because they're so expensive - about 4 years ago it cost me AUD$4.60 (USD$3.57) for a bottle of water. Ridiculous!

Here in Gen San, watching a movie costs only $1. Popcorn is about $0.50 and soda is the same. We don't need to be there at the start because we can enter the theater in between showings. The last movie I saw in the theater is a Filipino love comedy film starring Sam Milby and Toni Gonzaga (hahaha! baduy ba?)...but I watched Pursuit of Happyness on DVD recently.

'twas a pretty long time ago. when was the first LOTR movie shown? that's how long i've never been to see a movie at a theatre! seriously, i'm not such a movie freak, anyway. i prefer watching movies in the comfort of my own home, and it's cheaper that way. renting dvds don't cost much, and i get to eat homemade goodies, instead of popcorn, and better yet, i could make as many trips to the restroom as i want. i think you'd get to spend some $4.00/person to get inside a theatre with popcorn.

Yeah, I live in the Philippines, actually I'm not fond of going to the movie theater, I prefer watching DVD at home or just waiting for the movie premiere in HBO. What was the last movie that I saw? Pirates of the Carribean, I'm not sure.

the last movie i saw was borat it cost £4.25 to get in and see, i didn't buy any refreshments as they are always a rip off because the company knows people will pay it because there isn't anywere else in the cinema to go. Also i just found out that in most places it is illegal to take your own snacks into the cinema!

When was the last time you saw a movie in the US. We always paid $4-$4.50 for matinee tickets when I was a kid (15 years ago). Full price back then was $7.50-$8. I haven't been to the movies in about 2 1/2 years because we can't afford. Last time we even looked it was almost $10 for an adult ticket. Not sure what the matinee price was. Popcorn was like $2 for a medium or large (I forget) and sodas were about $2.

Just rub it in.It sounds like The Philippines is the place for movie goers to live. The last time I went to the movies, in May of last year, it was 7.00 for a matinee and 10.00 for a regular price.i don't usually get popcorn so this is a guess. I think popcorn is around 3.50 or 4.00 and soda around 2.00 to 3.00. Here in the States you get large and I mean large sodas for the price of a smaller soda.It sounds great that you can see a movie from the middle. It used to be the same here before 1960. Psycho put an end to it.

i saw the Transporter 2. it is a good Film but i really dont liked it Becaze there are some weak points in the story that shows that its not from a professional writer may be. they make good action but they dont have good story.

On the television we are watching DreamCatcher. We last saw on Netflix Quicksilver Highway, a sort of double feature, then the last movie we saw at a theatre was Underworld Evolution! You soda is cheaper than ours. Popcorn seems cheaper too. We pretty much get there on time or wait for the next showing to start. Cost the two of us 15 dollars to see it. That is why we buy our movies and rent through Netflix, much cheaper.
