Not a bad choice. It is important to have calming coulurs in yout bedroom. Like earth tones og greeninsh coulors. Mainly coulurs that are connected to nature in some degree. This makes you sleep much better. If you have anxiety or nervousness issues, don,t paint the room red! But it seems you have created a nice sleeping environment with the coulors you have picked out. I think you,ve done good!

I used a chocolate milk color on my walls recently. The ceiling I did with a darker beige and a lighter beige border about 10 inches wide. It looks awsome. My husband thought I was insane. But once I pulled it all together with a faux suede textured bedspread and curtains, accent pillows etc he just loves it. I got rave reviews from my friends as well. The only thing about doing the ceiling in a dark color is that it may pull it down so to speak.

That sounds like it would be really nice, though I would do a test on the border before you really decide on it. A lot of times with a dark ceiling and lighter walls, a dark border will make the ceiling look lower, giving the room a smaller effect. The colors you chose are natural colors, and that will give comfort to your room. I do not know what your tastes in colors are, but with the colors that you chose, I would look into creams and blues for accessories. Stick to the natural cool colors, it is more relaxing for a bedroom.

Colours are really important to a lot of things. Cerebral development is one of them.. but for me, it's important to choose a colour that you need to have in your life (a bit like feng shui). For instance, blue is a calming colour that helps us to relax and be balanced. Red vibrates at a much higher frequency and is more likely to stimulate our thoughts (this is why red is used to attract animals and give warning signs.. it's not just because it's a nice colour! hahaha). Purple is great if you want to get in touch with your psychic side... I would recommend against browns etc... they will only bog you down into the mundane things in life. I really would consult with a colour specialist (look for reki masters in your area.. trust me you will be very happy afterwards!!). Love and light.
