There are a lot of things you can do. 1 - Watch what you eat, eat out less (restaurant food tends to be higher in calories and much larger servings than you would make for yourself at home). Make your own food, and don't eat to get full, just eat until you are satisfied, eat slower and you may find that it takes a lot less food than you thought. Also, replace some of what you normally eat with something healthier. Have carrots instead of chips with lunch, oatmeal instead of a bagel in the morning, snack on fruit, not candy, and drink water instead of soda. Little things add up. 2 - Get more exercise. Doesn't mean you have to go to the gym every day, but maybe take the stairs instead of the elevator, or go take a half hour walk. If your watching TV, get up and do pushups or jumping jacks during commercials. The more exercise the better, but most of us can't just take two hours out of our day to go to the gym, but a lot of us can do 15 minutes of pushups, situps, jumping jacks, etc. before we take a shower in the morning. 3 - Don't get discouraged. Losing weight is really hard. Results are very slow, and it's not healthy to lose a lot of weight fast, its much better to lose slow and steady. Set a realistic goal, i.e., lose 5 pounds by March. Then once you meet that, set a new one, lose 5 more by April, etc. Good luck with this, I am trying to lose weight myself, don't get discouraged. Doing a massive lifestyle shift (i.e. I'm going to the gym every day, and I'm not eating any meat, etc.) is very hard and very easy to give up on. Doing little things to make your lifestlye more generally healthy is a lot easier to keep up with.

In a month you could loose 8-10 pounds if you have the willpower. Don't join a programme- its a waste of money. Check out my discussion called Diet Tips, there's a few ideas there which should help you get started. Good luck!

Crunches will take a while and would not work to lose the weight also a 100 is not enough. I eat one meal a day, drink a lot of water, and I do 300 plus crunches everyday to tone up my abs to do the rest of my body I do yoga. The best thing for u would be jogging because jogging helps u burn the calories u need and also tones u up, and it is good for ur heart. Eating the right foods is also a plus because u are not taking in all the fatty foods that u love to eat. Try to eat between 1200-2000 calories a day (if u are going to do any type of exercise u should eat a very good healthy meal and make sure u have three meals a day).Under 500 is a huge risk so don't do it. If u crave for snacks pick up some fruits or energy bars. NO FATTY FOODS OR SNACKS!!! So Good Luck!!!!
