Everyone at some time in their life feels depressed for some length of time...but how do you shake the feeling off. I've felt this way for a while now on and off. I've lived two different lifes in too different locations and both had good and bad points. I hoped that the change in my circumstances would help me stop feeling this way but i just can't seem to be happy or satisfied with what i am doing with my life. HELP! All advice welcome.

I know it's hard to get out of this slump feeling when you're down, and it's so much easier to focus on the intense dissatisfaction, but if you get out for you--not for work, or to do mundante tasks and errands--I mean really get out and do something for yourself, you'll start to feel better. You could go for a walk somewhere peaceful, maybe go see a movie. Just do something out of the ordinary for your current routine, something that will lift your mood, and then get in the habit of being good to yourself. You have to break the cycle and habit of depression, just like any other bad habit we sink into. You can do it!

I agree with you that every one at some time in their life feels depressed. In my view this kind of feeling is normal in our daily lives as there is negativity everywhere. In order to get out of depression we need to do things that are out of our schedule. The things which we wanted to enjoy. Depression if ain't cured fast can lead to serious implications.
