can a vampire get AIDS?

No, because there is no such thing as a vampire, except in the movies and in books. But if there were, the vampire would be the one at risk, because he is drinking the blood. And even then, it would be impossible to say because there have been no studies to determine if HIV can be transmitted through oral ingestion (since humans do not drink blood). The possibility exists that the strong stomach acids may in some way interfere with the HIV being able to infect the T-cells. But this is of course all hypothetical and will never be tested...

From a logical point of view... NO The wampire only takes your blood. If he was giving you blood... YES... there would be a chance of it giving you AIDS if it had sucked the blood of an AIDS sufferer. It does not matter if the wampire can have AIDS or not. If he carry the blood of an AIDS sufferer and pass it on to you... it will give you AIDS. But wampire don't give blood. They only take it. So you are safe my friend. Don't worry about a thing. Just sit there and wait for the next full moon.
