yes why not, i am 42 now, and i still have good relationship with my parents as well as my other siblings, as a daughter/son,we have to show our love and affection to our parents, eventhough we have our own family. it is our way of thanking them for bringing into this world... and if you have your own family and kids, you will appreciate your parents more, because you know how it feels to be a parenst too.. goo day
