two universities are recognised very well in india for distance education, tho there are many more. 1. IGNOU 2. MKU since you are at chennai, you could take MKU, but in case you want a world wide appeal for your degree, then do it from IGNOU. alternatively, you could try from Symbiosis, Pune for the PGDBM. it is also a very well respected course. mike the lil smiley devil

well thw best way is through college. but if u r working and need it for promotional sapects then part time is fine. for regular cource vaiours institutes conduct an entrance exam. the syllabus mainly is: maths - level upto 10th standard data interpretation general knowledge, and english. once you get through the entrance the successful candidates are called for a group discussion and if u clear that u r through. i m giving you the list of a few of the best institutes in india pffering MBA IIMs, XLRI, S.P.Jain, Symbiosis, IMT, AIMA, IIPM rest you can always search online. regarding part time normally you get admitted directly on application but some good institutes like IMT, conduct an entrance for that also but there is no GD for that. hope that helps. all the best

Doing a distance study for your Master of business Administration is not a good idea becasue i have heard that it doesnt have much value when compared to people who do their MBA full time from reputed institutes.

the best way for pursuing an mba is full time option. this way you end up learning more and meeting lot of useful people. i will suggest that you check www.pagalguy.com here, you will find lot of discussions and forums on such topics.
