well the word in itself carries a lot of meaning -- an indepth story.... the word Guru means a preacher... i intentionally did not use the word teacher as you might take it in a lighter way.... Guru need not be ur school teacher, thoughb he can be one, he may be your father, your mom, your grandpa. may be ur elder brother or any one of ur uncles, into whomever you may like to submit all your faith.... he is the one whom you consider your ideal, whom you refer when u r in doubt, whom u accredit for your successes, he is ur preacher, ur guider, motivator, educator and lots more.... on the other hand, the interests category you put this topic into, tells me that you are talking about the movie Guru.... now if it is that then it is a movie starring Aishwarya Rai and Abhisek Bachchannnn.......

Guru is a very good attempt by Mani Ratnem. Abhishek in male lead has given an outstanding performance of his career till date. Songs are good as always as have been composed by legendary composer A.R.Rehman. Story is very very good.
