What do you do when you get depressed?

I am just wondering what response people will have regarding this. For me, I usually go to a coffee shop alone and watch people. What about you guys?

When I am depressed I turn on some great '70's music and listen to it for awhile or, I go for a walk alone and reflect upon what is bothering me. If neither of those measures help I will talk to my husband about what is bothering me. I ussually don't stay depressed for very long!

i rather sit and turned on my PC and play PC games,with that i can be more relax.

I talk to my wife about it, have some friends around and sometimes go in a quiet place and meditate there. The best way also is to pray, it helps a lot if you tell God what is bothering you and I'm sure He is always there listening to you.

When I get depressed I cry over the simplest things and I am very irritated if things don't go right. I had a lot of medical problems last year and now I take a happy pill once a day. My son can tell if I forget to take it so it must help.

I listen to music, watch a comedy movie or tv show, take a walk, or play video games. Just keep trying to pamper myself and replay positive thoughts and feelings. Also contact friends or family when I can, too.

Hmmm.. I also watch movies when I don't feel good. i remember watching this Jack Black movie I forgot because I was depressed and it was gone afterwrads. Of course, the movie was not the best but it kept me laughing at the silliness of it all and I felt fine after that.

When I get depressed ,first of all ,I will cry for a while.Then I will go to the shop to buy lots of food. When I got home i'll eat all of these food,then i'll feel better.Do you know it's a very good way to help yourself. Maybe you think it's reductious,however,it's the truth. This is a method that i saw in a newspaper.It's sad that vegetables and some other foods can change your mood when you eat them .your brain will be relaxed when you are chewing foods.It's wonderful,isn't it!

i talk with my parents and then listen to music to bring down my BP. it reduces my depression.

if i am really depressed then i cry which i rarely do. i used to cut myself but haven't recently. if i had money i would shop and get a surface piercing. i write what is on my mind and what is depressing me.

If possible, i talk to my boyfriend and get hugs from him. . .but if he isn't here (at work, out with the boys, etc) I drink a cup of hot cocoa with marshmallows in it and have a long hot bubble bath
