Christmas past

So did you ask for anything scrapbook related for christmas? And if so did you get it? Did you receive any surprises?
I got a few things from stamping up...but not a lot. We don't have a scrapbook store anywhere near us. The closest is about 7 hours away. So i'll just have to grin and bear it that I won't get anything big scrapbook related under teh tree.

I didn't ask for anything scrapbook related, but boy did I get surprised! My mother in law got me some GREAT stuff for organizing all my supplies. Are you familiar with Creative Memories? Well I got alot of their organizational tools! The pen holder, the big photo box, file folders, and even a big tote! I was very blessed!
I'm actually not a big fan of Creative Memories' scrapbook supplies, but I love their organizational stuff!

Yes i'm with you. I really don't care for their line either. Though they are coming out with some pretty nice papers lately. Guess keeping up with the trends. How great that you got some organizational items...that is always a scrappers dream...to be organized! I know i'm not!

I asked for the chip board letters. I have this great idea to cover the chipboard letters with scrapbooking paper, instead of painting them like all the magazines say to do. I ended up gettin the chipboard letters, and some scrapping paper, and my mom ordered away for 12 x 12 scrapbooking drawers...wow, that really surpised me. I had pointed them out in a catalogue a few months before christmas, but didn't think she would hunt them down and find them for me. I haven't had much motivation to scrapbook later though, and am very far behind, as far back as August last year.
