Why they even call it "reality" tv. It is so far from any reality I know. I don't know about you, but, I'm tired of it. Has Hollywood run out of original ideas? It's the same crap on. Wife Swap, Trading Spouses, Dog, Survivor, blah, blah, blah..... How is this reality? I would like to see some real reality tv, like couples scrambling at the end of the month to make the rent. Or finding out your job has been outsourced to India. That's reality, not 20 something hard bodies running around the jungle.

its cheaper on the network to shoot reality shows they dont have to pay big money for actors, when they can get suckers to compete for money just to be on tv, but yea theres too many reality tv on nowadays, but sum are still entertaining, but others is the same old stuff!

To be honest I hate reality tv with a passion, I can't honstly understand people's fascination with it, it bores me to tears and watching other people do mundane things etc is hardly addictive watching. It's a waste of everyone's money and I certainly won't watch any of it.

I have never been a fan of reality TV as I have yet to find something that is actual reality. I agree with you. Nothing will never be reality to me as long as the people know the camera is there. And not only that, but I don't want any editing to the show, they producer can cut and paste it anyway they want, how is that reality?

Ok so maybe they should change the name of it-- Not reality tv.. I love Survivor, The Amazing Race, and Big Brother.. It's entertaining to watch- It's real people dealing with whatever the show puts them through- Whether it be going from country to country finishing challenges, competing against each other for immunity, and how people react with no outside correspondence. I like to see the bickering-- the arguing, the pulling together to win-. It's just fun to watch-- If a network aired a show on how a family scrambled at the end of the month to make rent- I wouldn't watch it- Not that I scramble to pay more mortgage-- but that is too everyday life. I say keep Survivor coming!

I think the first reality show was survivor then the bachelor, now they're never ending. I don't know why they call it reality either. I guess they want you to think it's all real, but we all know it's not. Everything is planned out.

It is the same here. Not only do we make copies of all the american and english ones but they also air the original ones, so there are "reality-shows" on day and night and it is very tireing. I remember when we had movies on all the time, now there are almost none. I am guessing that people are watching them though coz what would be the point to air them otherwise? Another thing that all the chanels have picked up are the "gamne-shows" where u can call in and have a guess of what word they are looking for. if u get it right u win money - otherwise they will ask u to try again., In the beginning just one channel had this, now I think that there is atleast 5... It´s just soooo boring!

LOL, I'm laughing so hard I'm crying. I know exactly what you are talking about - or how about the mother of 4 all under 5 trying to do diapers, bottles, laundry, clean house, while her husband is at the bar. I've always wondered how those people on the soap operas managed to ALWAYS look perfect - not a hair out of place, wake up, jump out of bed makeup perfect...
