Which is the best operating system?

I am going to purchase a latest configured Laptop for my business purposes! Please let me know which is best operating system - Windows XP or Windows Home or is there even better OS?

Mac OS and Linux are the best. windows is not a good operating system and it requires a powerful machine for it to run smoothly.

anything will do. just choose the one you are very familiar with and if you feel its outdated, you can upgrade your system

If you are new to computer, I recommend to use Windows XP.
And you said that for you business purposes. So I suggest Windows XP professional edition.
