I'm curious, do you still have time to pray?

These days, the world is dominated by modern technology and it seems that everybody is busy doing their own thing. Hope we could spend even a minute to pray and clear our minds from all the stress. Let me know about your views and opinions in this matter. Thanks.:))

I live a very busy life and I need to prioritise all I do. On thing I never write on my list of things to do is pray. Why not? Because it is so important to me that I don't need to list it. I spent the first hour or two of my day in communion with my loving heavenly Father and my Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. I read His Word and allow Him to talk to my heart and I talk with Him about everything. I continue to practice His presence throughout the day, talking with Him constantly, thanking Him for undertaking for me and seeking His guidance. This is NOT because of any goodness in me. On the contrary. It is only because of His goodness to me and of what He has done in my life.

yes i still pray mayenskie. I think we should pray all the time. As the bible says, pray without ceassing. I do tend to forget to pray at times especially when am busy, but this is so rare though. i always cling to GOD all the time. we should pray not only to ask GOD for blessings, protection, guidance, help, etc, but also to thank HIM for being so faithful and true even though at times we are unfaithful to him.

I try to pray everyday. I will pray at bedtime before going to sleep. I also pray at different times during the day. if I am reading emails and someone needs a prayer I will stop and pray for them.

Yes,we still do.Prayer is still the most important thing. It is our Communication line to God. At the very start of the day,I acknowledged Him as well as before retiring at the end of the day with the Holy rosary.

i dont think its a matter of time, but an age of changing. seems more and more westerners are not praying, but more and more easterners (like chinese) would be believing in more religion or sth related?

Indeed due to the changing times, people nowadays don't bother to pray at all. Our teacher in Sociology once said that the more advance in technology a country has, the less they believe in God or any religion. So sad that most westerners don't even believe anymore that there is God.

praying's always been the best way of communicating to God.. too bad coz most of us do pray only if we have something to ask for.. but then atleast.. God is still remembered.. i do always call to God.. i may not pray the typical prayers.. but i do talk to God a lot..^^ though i'm not actually born Christian.. but i do call to Him always..^^

Firstly I think it depends on why we pray. Do we pray because we want to or we think we are required to do it, like eating 3 meals a day. That becomes a chore not a sincere desire to talk to God. So if we pray because we want to, then we will make the time to do it despite our busyness. I know some people make it a point to wake up very early to spend time with God because that is when they replenish their 'inner strength' to meet the day's demands. For myself, I make it a point to pray every morning before breakfast and before I start my day. I confess I need the Lord to get through each day.

Time never stop for you or Time never goes with you. You have to go with time. Now a days there are many things to send the time we should find some time to pray. Or we can pray to GOD while working. I usally take GOD's name while I am working.

I don't have any time to pray at all. No offense, i don't believe in a god or gods. personally i believe science holds the answers and not a god. I have prayed in the past but i don't have time these days to do that. I respect those who do believe in god(s). Kudos ~Joey

I make the time to pray each day. Prayer helps me get through the day. IT gives me courage and strength that I need. I also believe that prayer helps me with my problems.

I do. Before I get up in the morning, I say a quick prayer of thanks for a new day. And before I go to sleep, no matter how tired I am, I thank him for guiding me through a busy day. Saying a prayer would take like a minute or two.

I always say my prayers before going to bed, I can't just fall asleep if I don't. I used to go to the church near my work location during my lunch break to pray for a little while whenever I was in the need too. That made me feel a lot better. I guess it all depends on how you take your prayes an religion in general, if it is more like an obligation or some kind of duty or if it is more like a real internal need of having some divine connection during your life. I think you always have a couple of minutes for that...
