Why people getting Bald?

Baldness in men are common now. Rate of Baldness has been increased recently. Earlier it was very rare. Can you suggest some reasons.

Baldness will cause due to hereditory or due to a decease called alopatia. Now a days, due the use of artificlal detergents and cosmetics, the baldness is increasing in the society. They say balds are intelligents !!!

I too agree with you. It is due hereditary or by the way of our living. I dont think baldness has something to do with intelligence. Ofcourse some most intelligent people are/were bald. Hence such a SAY came into existence.
