Have you ever wondered why this Gospel is not in the bible? according to the bible itself, Enoch was one of the few who ascended into the heavens, yet little is told about him. www.demons.monstrous.com/v_books_of_enoch.htm

I've read the book of Enoch, the Books of Adam, the Testamonies of the 12 Tribes and so on. If you ask me, I found out a lot of information and answers to many questions I've come up with just by reading them. Why it's not in the bible...ask the Catholics! They're the ones that had to go and change things around. But, it might not have been an accident. There are 66 books in the bible and 6 is the number of man. That equals 666. There are 66 knots, bolts and flowers on the menorah in the Tabernacle of Moses...it's all part of the Master's plan. ~Kaeli

Well, the explanation I received, was that all the Gnostic's were forged documents. LOL! And, that theory has it's roots all over Christianity. I have yet to hear a pastor say, "this was part of the bible, and should be in there!" My father always told me I was getting half the truth, not the whole truth, but I don't think he understood it either. There is some interesting information in th Gnostic scriptures, I believe that The Gospel of Adam talked about Lilith, right? hmmmm! someone I have heard about in the past, that blew me away. What a feminist!

I can't say one way or the other why this gospel did not make it into the bible, but apparently there are a bunch of gospels that the Lord didn't deem good enough to put in the bible. It is referred to by many christians as the operators manual to life if you will. Best regards Wayne

The King James version told the monks what could, and could not be in the bible. the reason why alot of this stuffwas left out, provide for some interesting talk at a coffeehouse, I am sure! what greater mystery indeed would it be to have these important people reintroduced into the bible as we know it? we need to stop denying they exist, and demand that they be released to the public, so that we can decide if these are for us or not. I mean, who still accepts the world is flat?

Enoch was taken by God into heaven, he did not die here on earth as any man does. When could he possibly written a book? Enoch lived before the great flood as he was the 7th generation and the flood occurred during the time of Noah, 10th generation. Or even if he had written a book and not destroyed in the flood, perhaps that is not necessary in salvation that it was not included anymore for as apostle John said the world would not contain the books if everything is written.

It could be that the Book of Enoch was not written by Enoch himself and therefore sinde writing was in its infancy, and the real Enoch lived before the Flood, only bits and pieces were known of how he lived and not enough to write a true account of his life with God. Therefore when someone decided to write the Book of Enoch they fabricated much of the information and may have added things of their own imagination.

I found the story of Enoch. Is in the Pearl of Great Price one of the scriptures of the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter Day Saints with nickname (Mormons). They have scriptures from God. The LDS or Mormon missionaries will help you about these things. Everything about ENOCH. See www.LDS.org or www. Mormon .org. then see scriptures. Hope you will find the great answer for thy question. Have a nice day.

After much soul searching, I believe you are right! Mormonism answers the things other religions can't answer. It was long ago (3 years ago) when I just needed answers to some of my questions out there. I would have never guessed Mormonism had the answers. what a trip.

Saralee, I am a born-again Christian and, yet, believe that while there is no denial about the existance of an Almighty, Supreme One, no Holy text (as we know them) has the complete truth about God. There are even times when one can distinguish between God's direct inspired words and our forefathers's inspired admonitions.
