Back taxes owed to a state I haven't lived in for years?

Back taxes owed to a state I haven't lived in for years? A state I used to live in finally noticed I haven't been paying taxes for the last ten years. Now they want back taxes, interest and penalties for the past seven years. They do not accept a drivers liscense, property title, voter registration, vehicle registration or insurance or a letter from my pastor as proof that I don't live there, but won't tell me what they will accept as proof. Any other ideas other than paying a few years income?
