you have faith in your security software?

Do you have faith in your security software on your computer? Have you been hacked since installing said security software? I've never had a virus on this machine, some spyware yes because those sneaky things get in or atleast they try to ;) but as for a trojan or virus nothing. i find it odd that so many people , even though there ARE all these security software programs out there, are still having their computers destroyed by viruses.. does anyone else find this odd? how much faith do you have that your computer is safe and protected?

I have four different security programs but I don't find them completely secure. I do have 2 so-called programs that come up on my spysweep list everytime I boot up. I remove them but they just keep coming back when I reboot. I can't get rid of them permanently and the website techies were unable to help me. I'm going to be upgrading soon so hopefully I can clean out my hard drive and start over. My computer causes me more trouble than it's worth sometimes. There are so many people who keep their computers on 24 hours a day, companies, schools, but me? If I'm away from my computer for twenty minutes everything goes wonky and I have to reboot. PITA!

Personally i'm very secure with my the software i'm using now. I'm talking about BitDefender 10 and 9 wich i've used since a couple of months ago if you want to belive that after over a year of using these 2 antiviruses with include firewall, antispam and antispyware i never had my PC infected but any malware, spyware nothing and i've been surfing on some dangerous pages always ignoring when the browser warned me and downloaded dozens of infected file. Still Bitdefender blocked anything wich tried to reach my system and i was surprised that my PC was always running at it's best and it was very very clean of any viruses even after a year of intense internet activity. Yes i truly trust my security software in fact i love it.
