Why do you think India lost to SL in today's ODI?

I think, the middle order failed to perform and chase a modest total. Do you agree?

Hi Rajesh, the reason for today's failure is VIRENDAR SEHWAG AND VIRENDAR SEHWAG ALONE. See, uthappa and dravid got good wicket taking deliveries. karthik, after a fine sensible knock, got a really good delivery falling LBW. Seniors tendulkar and ganguly, although took india out of trouble with their fantastic knocks, fell to indiscretion, tendulkar getting uncharacteristically stumped and ganguly chasing a wide delivery. But they can be pardoned for they took us to safe waters before falling. Even dhoni was bowled first ball, fortunately a no ball but an extremely good one. Bhajji lashed irresponsibly instead of taking a single and giving dhoni strike, but being a bowler predominantly, we should not accuse him, although we can. When we see all this, sehwag's irresponsible clumsy cheeky attempted glide to third man was THE SINGLEMOST FACTOR responsible for today's loss. He should be shown the door without hesitation and made to undergo the domestic grind and forced to stage a true comeback like ganguly.

It wasnt a modest total, anything above 250 gets some respect. Then india no 1 and no 3 failed, and it wansnt a good start except for saurav and sachin. Then dhoni batted well in middle but couldnt score more then 1 boundary. Slow batting towards end costed india dearly

well i thin k DHoni played sensibly but nobody to support him in the end, thats the only cause, middle order performed well i think every1 contributed if only in last few over somebody would have stick around with the dhoni then we would have got through

i think if opening batsman failue and middle order failure in this match. if uthappa played well in this match india has chances of easy victory .and also it is the failure of verender sehwag .if he played well india had win definetly.

I feel the Indian batting order has to be revised.Dravid will have to come in at either Number five or six as he is probably the only batsman in the Indian team who is an excellent finisher. We lost todays match in the middle overs after an excellent first twenty overs.Sachin is of late finding it very difficult to score off spinners so he could come in at number three.Sehwag should probably be given a rest.
