Just about everyone acknowledges the great contribution and vision that MLK gave to African Americans, and America in general. I wonder if he would approve of race-relations in our society today, and if he would be an advocate for the continuation of affirmative action to this day. What do you think?

I am quite sure that the great Martin Luther King. Jr woulod approve of race-relations and approve of this he was such a wonderful man, and the way it is today lot of people are inter-marriage as I am one as well. I believe that he had the right attitude towards his people and that they deserved to be free

Thank you for your response. I agree, I think that he would have been very supportive towards affirmative action. I wouldn't agree with him that this would be the best policy towards promoting racial equality, but I do think that he would have supported it.

No, Conserve, I don't think that MLK would approve of race relations in our nation (society) today. Affirmative action for today; I can't say.
