Does it get harder to answer discussions the longer you have been here?

I said when I first started that I was going to do a hundred comments a day. Well I have done over 400 comments and now. I find that most of the new discussions are just like the ones I have answered before. I don't want to answer the same discussion topics over and over again. I can still find about 20 or so new ones but after that. Its like pulling teeth to find any new ones. Have you experienced this same issue or are you able to find lots of good discussions and how do you find them?

There are days when I spent the whole morning just wading through the pages and couldn't find something that attracts me so I just ended up reading and following the threads of some people. Nice experience though, it's interesting to know how different people think on the same subject. Yes it can be frustrating sometimes but I still think that the best way is to go to your friend's discussions first and check if they have posted something new. It's difficult repeating yourself in responding to discussions you have answered before but I sometimes do it for lack of a good discussion to respond to. You are not alone mssnow. You are fairly new and you are doing great. Keep up the good work. I can see that you are only a few breaths away from reaching 500.

I've noticed the same thing. I am trying to find ways to start interesting discussions that are different. But, no one seems to respond to them.

Yes , I do find it hard to come on here some days and find new discussions to answer because so many of them are the same but when you run into this problem , I find that is a good day to put up some of my own disucssions or to go back and respond to some of the one's I had done up and read and answer what other's had resoponded to .

I find the same thing. I've only been here a couple of weeks and I see the same things. I've been branching out in my interests. I usually go through the links to new discussions that are related (at the bottom of the screen) and browse that way. I've found that if I get into a new interest, there's lots of new discussionss. When I stick with the same ones all the time, it gets boring.

after being here for 6 months, i can hardly find discussions which interests me. i always log in here maximum of 5 hours a day. there are lots of discussions that are to senseless and some are just repetitions. i skip those. i jump from one section to another like today's hot discussions, then new user's discussions, then to discussions with no reponses, discussions started by my friends... etc. just to find an interesting discussion to respond to. there are days when i get to find really lots of them. but there are times when i just sign out after an hour or two of being here. i think that's natural to us who are making mylot a part of our daily lives. i just took a break yesterday and went out with my bestfriend. and upon returning today, i feel really good, relaxed because i rested awhile.

I do agree with you but also do get lot of discussions to reply to as I sort from my interest and do get good topics. I am getting a bit lazy though replying to it.

Yup, that is happening to me too. ANd if you think this is bad, go to Yahoo! Answers - they are one major repetition. And I hate to tell you this, I have seen your question posted multiple times. It is difficult to post different questions. We should be grateful that there are so many people who do stupid things in the news that we can talk about.

You are facing this problem after 400 responses!! I am already out of responses after 190. As I am still a student, so cant answer posts regardng job or parenting. So I tried posting what I knew best. I tried posting in computers and internet etc. But now those interest groups have become repetitive. So am trying in different categories. Huh I can see that my posts hav droped from almost 45 in one day to hardly 10 now. If you can still post 20, your are doin very good buddy. ALl the best. Happy Posting :).

Only hard when none of the questions are familiar subjects to me or none of my friends posted questions in a day. Some questions are also similar with others but I answered it anyway, until I find new subjects that I am familiar with.

YES - I am so glad to hear it's not just me. It seems each day here I find fewer and fewer discussions that I'm either interested in, have something to say about, or aren't the same thing repeated in different words. I think a key is getting into a interest you like but there are a lot of other people with the same interests.

LOL - a little good healthy competition is always helpful. Guess I'd best get going or you will catch me. Little tip I picked up when all else fails jump over to the new members discussions - there are a lot of newbies looking for information on what to do here and such - offering help builds your reputation. Also being selective of "friends" no since having 1000 friends if they don't post any discussions I'm interested in.

Yes! I was just thinking this it does get harder once you've responded to a lot of posts. I always try to look for some but it all looks the same to what i've already posted. So sometimes I just try to create some new discussions for people to read but no one ever responds to the ones I make. I'll just have to work harder when searching for topics I guess. I still wish there was more topics that are easier to post too.

after being here for sometime, it's so difficult to find interesting discussions to respond to. or maybe my brain's just overworked and that it needs rest for awhile. and that's what i did yesterday.

it gets harder now, that i have to read all what the member discussing all about because they post too much descripion and i just don' wanna answer or discuss basing at its title because some members posted titles that has different description. unlike before its that quick because they're not overly descriptive. and their titles are specific not like now. its time consuming. i dont like it.

Some seem redundent, but I use the Search function on top and use keywords to find good discussions. For example, I put 'cats'in the Search and it brings me to about 25 discussions to choose from. Use keywords and the Search and you'll find more interesting ones.

same here... it's getting harder for me to respond to topics that are similar to those that I have came across weeks ago :( There are many topics, yet I don't have anything to say, so I spend lots of time looking for topics that interest me. I end up responding to few ones in a day.
