When painting your home do you use bold bright colors or do you stick with white shades?

I absolultely love bright colors. Unfortunately, I'm renting a very beige condo where the owner won't let me paint anything! I just moved in, so I'm trying to think of creative ways to add color. To me, there's nothing more depressing than a beige place. Although I will say that I'm currently love with the stark white trend. If I could get rid of all the beige and do my walls and draperies and countertops in the purest of white with some black and vivid color accents, that would be my dream!!

I love that trend too! but I live with my mother right now and thats not possable with her or my 6 year old neice and 3 month old nephew. I hated living in my apartment, I could paint, but when I had time, I didn't have money, when I had money I didn't have time! I'm hopeing that when I move in a few months I can go in and paint before we move in, if they let us.

I love all colors, I think if you use bold colors it really makes your room pop and gives people an idea of who you are.

I don,t like when everything is white. I like to put some color in my house. But I don.t like color that are too dark. The last room we paint, was my little baby boy room and it,s a light green and yellow. Very bright color :)

I am not afraid of color, however, some colors do end up looking tacky, and I usually stray away from light colors like white and pastels when it is up to me because they show stains and blemishes too easily... People call me a "vampire" for this, but I have always preferred deep colors unless I am going for a specific style, that is!

LOL In our last house, I painted the kitchen Sunshine yellow with Marigold trim. The living room was paneled with a dark brown ceiling and our bedroom was light blue walls and a Periwinkle ceiling. I also let our one foster boy paint his room a color called Lushious Grapes...a very bright purple color, so no, I'm not afraid of color. Though in our apartments we're not allowed to paint or put up border paper so the walls are all plain white and the carpeting is a blue grey color. !!HAPPY EASTER!! **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~
