For me eating in candle light is one of the most romantic thing. Have you tried eating your supper in romantic light alone or with your family or with the person you love. Also, with some soft music will add more romance. In this valentine's day are you going to eat your supper in candle light? What all romantic things you are going to do in this Valentine's day?

All our plans for valentine day has been shelved :-( as one of his cousine is coming over to our place as he has some work in this city and we shall be meeting him after five years. He is kind of close so we don't mind it that much. After all everyday is a valentine's day if you love each other, lol. So no candle light dinners for us on 14Th Feb this year.

No, I won't be eating by candlelight. Candles do not produced enough light. I like to see what I am ingesting. It is suppose to be a standing rule that my hubby prepares the meal for Valentines Day, he did not this year. Instead, I made him chicken cordon blue and he enjoyed having the night off after a hard day of work in bitter cold temperatures and the ice storm that we had the previous night.

We don't celebrate Valentine's Day here in Australia, or at least it is only done so by the younger generation, as it has only become commercialised in the past 15 or so years. However, why wait till Valentine's Day for such special dinners? We have special dinners for a variety of occassions, but often "just because". We have been married for 36 years now, and still do special things for each other because that is how we show our love. So, I recommend that people should show their partner that they love them all the time, and not just on days like Valentine's Day. That is what the "just because" is, i.e. just because I love you and want you to know. :)

We'll have candles on our dinner table tonight, for sure :) Even though it's a family dinner (me, my husband and the two girls), I like to do something special on Valentine's Day. So, I try to set an attractive table with candles, cloth napkins, all that jazz... and I scatter little chocolate hearts around each place setting. It's fun to do simple things to make the day nice for those you love. The only thing I won't use any more is that darn heart-shaped confetti... no matter how I use it, I'm vacuuming that stuff up for DAYS afterwards! LOL

Candle light dinner is a wonderful experience especially when you are with your love. I would love to do that for this Valentine's day but unfortunately, I am far away from my girl and have to find a better time atleast later to have this kind of a dinner and make her happy.

I am sucker for romances. Candlelight dinners can really melt my heart. I have tried eating dinner in candlelight alone because we didn't have any electricity. Hahaha... Kidding. Nah, really I have eaten dinner in candlelight prepared by a good friend of mine way back. ThiS V-day, I'm not sure if I'd get one though. My husband has work and I respect that. So I'm not expecting anything special. Although, it's our 2nd wedding anniversary on the 18th so maybe that's when we'll celebrate. :)
