I have this intel inside pentium IV in my office PC. This working fine since last eighteen months. Should I use the same for my home PC too? My usage is of normal type.

boss, you are asking about motherboard. and pentium 4 is the processor. use any mainboard may be 945 with 3 ghz processor and 512mb ram will be good configuration for your home pc

I suggest Intel 945 motherboard with Dualcore processor 3GHz... Ram Up to 2GB s available in market bt I think 512MB s suficient.... If u r thinkin of VISTA.... Then go for 1GB ram.... Coz there s very little difference in cost.... n harddisk 160GB...

The function of the computer as a whole is as much dependent on how the parts work together as the performance of the individual components. Often a machine made by an established manufacturer, say Compaq, will outperform a nominally faster machine built from components and will almost certainly perform more reliably. all the best urban

If you are going for a PIV i would suggest you go for an intel boxed board for a stable performance at a price to pay. My next choice would be that of MSI board a better alternative to Intel board. Go for 945/946 and not for old 915 board.

Better to try Asus Mother board present it is providing built in Graphics card and it is very useful and it will be helpful for future operating systems and for games and some softwares.
