Which operating sytem is better?

Since, you prefer to use Window's family of operating system. I think the best OS for you right now will be the Windows XP Professional it is the most popular OS at present in the market and most stable. Although Window's Vista has been just now released just now, it will take time to stabilize and you have to buy a new machine to use Vista as it requires 1 gb ram for optimum performance. So, my choice is Windows XP Professional! go get it!

if you ask just about any person, they'll tell you that XP is the most stable of all microsoft OSs. personally I think LInux is better.

Well Linux is better , but Windows is more User friendly & support almost all the softwares ..

Most people in my place using at least Windows XP home edition. When someone said about windows 98 or 2K more stable, my mind always goes to think if windows XP is a "memory eater monster". Let's see, with 16 megs of ram you can run windows 98. But for windows XP, you need 256 megs. Even in OS-TAN comic, Windows XP is potrayed as a beautiful girl with scary eating apetite (eating alot of memory & resource) ^_^.

I like using Ubuntu but it has tons of issues with hardware compatibility like video cards for example. Of all the Windows OS I've been using I choose XP pro and win 98. Xp wins because it's the easiest to network and it had a lot of available drivers for your hardware devices. The only thing I hate are those constant updates so I just switched the updates off.

i use XP-PROFESSIONAL....... i feel it better than the rest of the os's........
